A LIBRARY
IN A CURVE-SHAPED TIME
The Shape and Direction of Time: Einstein’s theory of relativity, which agrees with a large number of experiments, shows that time and space are inextricably interconnected. One cannot curve space without involving time as well. Thus time has a shape. However, it appears to also have a one-way direction.
A Library contains knowledge from ancient to recent times of human beings. Reading books in a library, people can experience the history of “time”. This project aims to create the intangible experience of time tangible which is inspired by the concept of time by Hawking-the curve-shaped time with the space.
